Story

On the 15th of November, our fun-loving and mischievous dad, Richard, died of cancer aged 68 years old. In honour of his memory, we would like to raise money for two causes that we feel strongly about; Hayward House and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Richard's optimism and continued positive thinking was inspirational. So determined to see better days, we spent the last three months of his life unaware of how ill he actually was. After suffering from a great deal of pain, Richard's final days were spent at Hayward House, a hospice that is part of Nottingham City Hospital. The kindness and compassion shown to Richard and his close family and friends at this difficult time was deeply moving. As Hayward House is a hospice, it relies on donations to continue to support patients like Richard and their families.

Richard was always a fan of the sea and loved being out on the water. He was a strong supporter of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and its tireless work of saving lives at sea.

All donations will be split equally between the two causes.

Thank you for your generosity.

Warm wishes,

Imogen & Sophie
