Story

Chronic pain is the No1 global health burden

I am running an ultramarathon for Understand Pain every month to raise awareness of the global problem of pain. This project is called #upandrun, which is a combination of the runs and UP workshops for people suffering chronic pain.

You can follow the runs using #upandrun on Twitter, following @painphysio, and @paincoach on Instagram.

The problem: Affecting 100 million Europeans, 28 million in the UK and 20% of children, the suffering due to pain is immeasurable. The cost to Europe is in the region of €441bn per year. We can and must make an impact to improve lives in society. This is the purpose of Understand Pain .

Your sponsorship allows us to run the workshops for free for those in need, to build a network of associates who can deliver workshops and to create online training for people to understand their pain and improve their lives, and to build.

Your support is greatly appreciated.
