I've raised £1000 to continue the legacy of Kettering Orchard Park, investing in coaching qualifications and providing sports equipment to enable youths to play.

Rick Cooper set up Kettering Orchard Park at the age of 17 and entered in to their first league in 1977. For over 40 years he has played, coached and ran the local club. In August of this year Rick was diagnosed with a non curable brain tumour. Rick has been called a local legend by many (and a few other things by referees). Over the years, he has given 1000s of adults and youths an opportunity to play football. For some it provided them a step up to mens football, for others it lead to semi professional careers. Its Rick’s wish that that this can continue for our local youths, as these chances are becoming less and less. With your support we can make sure this happens. Love the Cooper Family x
