Hi folks,
I've been meaning to write this and send it out for ages but as many of you will know, I've had my head in all sorts of things recently.

I've been training for Brighton marathon for the past 6 months, and having gone from just about being able to get around a 10km run without collapsing. I am now able to complete longer 20+mile runs! Woohoo!!!

I was originally just going to have this marathon as a personal challenge but there are 16 Explorers and scouts in Christchurch that have been specially selected to go and represent the UK in West Virginia for the World Scout Jamboree. This trip is obviously a costly one and they are all fundraising to cover these costs. They are doing a fantastic job so far and several of them have been supporting me with this goal so far. This marathon is only a small challenge to help them in what, so far will be the biggest event of their lives so far. If there is anything you feel that you can give/do to help them then it will be more than brilliant!
