Yesturday my mum Julie Stokes sadly passed away unexpectadly in hospital. She had a heart attack late last year and never gained full health and last Sunday was rushed by ambulance back in to hospital. Over the past week she deteriorated and we were told Thursday that she had a big leak in 1 of her heart valves. She was then rushed in to critical care and sadly yesturday she went into cardiac arrest and after efforts by the medical team she sadly passed away.

Myself and the family are really struggling to come to terms with the loss and we are on benefits so have now got the worry of how we will be able to give mum the fitting send off that she deserves. She was there for everyone and adored myself and my younger severely disabled brother who is also finding it very difficult to understand what is happening. We have been told that NO DWP payments will be given until they recieved the final funeral bill which can't happen until the funeral has taken place which won't happen untill we pay £1000 upfront.
