On Sunday 21st June 2026 I'll be cycling from Burgess Hill to Exeter in one day. That's 180 miles from door-to-door! Yes I'm a keen cyclist but I've never attempted anything like this. I'm hoping to raise £1000 for Park Centre in Burgess Hill because this incredible local charity is the heart of our community, and it needs our support to keep going. Park Centre is a welcoming friendly space for vital services including youth clubs, mental health drop-ins, young carers support, and inclusive events that bring people of all ages together. I'm also one of their trustees, and as a small charity, I know that Park Centre relies entirely on the generosity of the community to keep its doors open and its services running. With youth mental health services facing waiting lists of many months, places like Park Centre offer a genuinely safe space where people can talk, find support, meet friends, and feel valued.
