Story

Hi

My name is Gabrielle Joyce

I live in Manchester with my fiance and 4 children.

I have always worked since I was 16 years old for Islington Council.

Me and Loyd had our first child when I was 19, and are blessed with 3 sons and a beautiful daughter.

We have not had the easiest of relationship, however we do share the most beautiful and amazing family and have the common goal to offer them the best future possible.

Since 2014 we have had a battle with the Home Office to grant his leave to remain in the UK.

We provided them with the evidence that they requested however they rejected his right to remain. They placed restrictions on him so that he is not allowed to work in the UK or claim public funds, therefore I have had to provide for us all financioally.

Our relationship suffered and so did the life of the children.

I left him to live alone with the children in 2016 however with the support of counselling we have been happily resideing as a family together for the last yea rand we finally got engaged in Jul.

Unfortunately as I decided to leave the family home at this cucial stage in the Home Office decisions they rejected the appeal and deemed him liable for deportation.

At every step of this stage we have not be recognised as humans, rather, only as a piece of paper.

My fiance was detained last week for 11 days and I started a petition on Change.org and managed to get him temporary admission to the UK.

During his time in detention he witnessed a suicied attempt from his cell neighbour, use of herion and spice and was attacjed inside his cell my a fellow detainee who had been transfered from a criminal jail.

My fiance is not a criminal he is a hardworking family man.

We desperately need to raise £1400 before the 22/09/2017

Thank you all who have supported us so far and signed the petition to help get my fiance out of detention.

We are all now home as a family and we have been able to temporarily resume family life.

The only clause to his release is as follows

if we now what the Home Office to recognise that we have a valid application for leave to remain in the UK we have to submit a new application and pay the Home office fees attached to this.

He will potentially be re-detained on the 22/09/2017 and deported.

It is impossible for me to raise the funds within the short time limit. I have just paid £1000 fees to a solicitor and now I am faced with the additional costs.

We are planning to get permission to run some fundraising events locally in Oxford Park Ashton Under Lyne with food and music so please come and join us there to enjoy some good times (date to be confirmed)

I am desperate for your help.

Please keep my daughters first love in her life and my son's role model and my protector by my side.

I feel so responsible for this

I will do everything in my power to keep my family together

Help me save my future and my family

Thank you

Thank you for caring. Please share make all aware
