I've raised £5000 to start a legacy for the children of the late Daphne Denny

My friend Daphne Denny lost her battle with cancer on Remembrance Sunday. She leaves behind three children under the age of eleven and a heartbroken family. Daphne faced her final predicament just as she lived her life - with incredible dignity and grace. Our daughters met on their first day of reception at William Tyndale school and have been best friends ever since. My friendship with Daphne also grew. She became the Mum I turned to first if I needed to know term dates or information about school. Daphne was a loving, diligent, kind, inspiring single mother of three children - Reuel (11 years old), Levi (10) and Kezia (6). Her greatest mission in life was the welfare and education of her precious children. So as her friend, I want to put together a collection for her children in honour of their wonderful mum. The proceeds will be given to Daphne's sister Jennifer who is caring for the children and continues to be a tower of strength during this tragic time. For all those who were touched by Daphne's warm spirit, this is our opportunity to show a little love and support.
