Story

"There are no words that can adequately describe the pain of losing someone. Holding her hand through her final moments was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Free of torment, free of pain and now at rest with the world. Goodnight Ma, I love you ❤️"

Naomi Drury, passed away suddenly in July 2018, she leaves behind a loving family but as her death was sudden no arrangements had been made resulting in the funeral costs being passed onto her family. The responsibility for this has fallen to Ben Bryan her son who is aged just 24.

I am PC Andy Bingham and I am the Specials Liason Officer at Calderdale District. Ben Bryan is a volunteer police officer (Special Constable) who works in Calderdale. Ben has given countless hours of time to his community and is a well respected and loved member of the team.

I am calling on the wider police community to help Ben in a small way by contributing towards those funeral costs which are expected to be in the region of £3500. Many members of the team and Ben's friends have said that they want to help him in someway and after speaking to Ben he thanks everyone for their support.
