Story

Seember Wuhe is a 15-year-old who grew up in a rural community devoid of appreciation for the Girl child and her parents marginalized her and took the importance of education for their sons serious while leaving her to fate and her desire to acquire education led her to walk long distance to a rural school in another community but even at that, she was taught in her local dialect.

Fueled with the zeal to study and make the most of her life, she began making inquiries on how to move to town to live with just about anyone who would sponsor her education.

This led her to Makurdi, in about two months, Seember was able to speak and communicate in English. She believes she can make a change in she acquires at least basic education. She deserves the chance. In Benue, most families neglect the importance of educating the Girl Child because they believe she is to get married and serve the husband but she thinks differently.
