I am looking at raising £500 for The Rising Stars theatre company. They are a group of volunteers who every thursday donate their time to help many young disabled people enjoy themselves through theatre. My sister, Terrie (who has learning and mobility disabilities) has been going to this group for a few years and has loved every moment of it and now I would like to give something back to them. Every year the group puts on a theatre show where all the people who attend the group take part, no matter their disability. You expect to see singing, dancing, acting even the great humour you find when going to the theatre.
Rising Stars are purely funded whether it be for the weekly meet ups or when making props, custumes for the shows, through donations.
They have a show up and coming in january 2017 and I would like to present to them a cheque at the end of the show as a thank you for what they have been doing.
To do this i am looking at doing a skydive in swansea over the christmas period (if possible in a santa outfit of course) It is something that iv been looking at doing for them for many years but finally have pluncked up the courage to do.
Im personally donating £100 to this because of how much it means to me and any amount you are willing to donate will be appreciated .
