I'm raising £6000 to Paediatric Urgent Care at The Ulster Hospital Emergency Department

Story

We’re raising £6,000 through a big day of football on the 13th of September at Bangor FC. Our Rivals for Good Day is designed to showcase case community football at its best whilst raising essential funds for the Ulster Hospital Emergency Department to help them purchase essential equipment for urgent paediatric care.

When our daughter, Alex, was just 18 months old, she was rushed to the Ulster Hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage. The incredible team there kept her alive and safe until she could be transferred to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children for specialist treatment.

In one of the most frightening moments of our lives, the care, compassion and dedication shown by the emergency department staff meant everything to us. They work in an incredibly demanding environment, and we want to help ensure they have the equipment they need to provide the very best care to every child who comes through their doors.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us reach our £6,000 goal. Thank you for your support.
