I've raised £5000 to start essential works on our 26 acre plot of land in Hartley Wintney dedicated to Uplifting Hearts with the River Hart Horses

RIVER HART HORSES is a very special centre which cares for both horses and humans needing breathing space to recover from the challenges that stress, anxiety and grief creates in our lives.
We are dedicated to the transformation of humans and horses into happy balanced compassionate members of our extended family. My name is Lindsay and I am the founder of RHH.
At our centre in Hartley Witney in Hampshire we value Courage Kindness and Compassion as our core principles in guiding our family both equine and human to wellness and a life of purpose. We have a gentle approach using tools of recovery, empowerment and the process ‘WALKING WITH HORSES’.
This process is not as simple as it sounds, developed over years of experience dealing hands on with life’s traumatic and challenging events. The process enables individuals from all walks of life from teenagers to those given terminal diagnosis breathing space to come to terms with and gain a better understanding of their own journey and the sometimes painful, difficult experiences which life presents.
Due to the unprecedented events surrounding Covid 19 and the continuing implications to our lives RHH recognises the inevitable fall out that will occur in the coming days, months and years which will not only be financial but more importantly mental, physical, emotional and Spiritual. We are preparing our centre to offer help to those most affected in this time, starting primarily with the NHS and Emergency services and then the broader community.
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR YOUR HELP TO LAUNCH RHH
After the death of my Mum Maureen to a brain tumour in 2019 I had planned to launch RHH to the world this year but in March as Covid hit and lockdown put everyone’s lives on hold I realised that I would have to rethink how that would even be possible. I had to face the possibility that everything I had been working towards and that my Mum had supported would be put at risk including the safety and lives of the six rescued horses I care for.
However as the crisis began to unfold it made me acutely aware of the need for RHH. The prospect of launching in the middle of a pandemic and global financial crisis was daunting and I had to start thinking differently. We will be launching different strategies for those who want to help to get involved with RHH as there is a significant amount of work we can offer in volunteering and long term emotional support.
As an organisation we are new to the world as this is the first time we have invited in support I have been quietly working away for 10 years supporting those I could and now is the time for RHH to step forward and offer our unique service to the world.
Your help will make all the difference. We believe every donation made carries with it the ‘Energy of goodwill and kindness‘. We are sincerely grateful for every penny. Thank you.
