Story
My Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer this year, and has only been given a few years left to live. A couple of years ago he was diagnosed with bowel cancer and as a results underwent 2 x 8 hour surgical operations to remove the cancer. Unfortunately the NHS, although managing to remove the cancer did not do a good job, which resulted in him having to undergo surgery a second time. Fast foward 18 months and my Dad was diagnosed with throat cancer. He has had radiotherapy and surgery but has been told there is nothing more they can do to help him. My Dad is now classed as disabled due to the extensive surgery he has had as a result of the large tumour and sadly can no longer work. We are not a wealthy family so are asking for some help to make my Dad’s last few years special. We hope to take him on holiday and help him to fulfill his bucket list. My Dad has worked hard his whole life, and i would love to be able to make his last years with us happy. On behalf of myself and my younger sister, we are incredibly grateful for any support given.
