    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Hi, I am currently a teacher at a special needs school in the UK. However, I have a great passion for photography and would like to start my own photography business (whether it be weddings or family portraits etc). At first this would be alongside my teaching job as I do love teaching, but eventually I would like it to be my full time job. However, a major stumbling block at the moment is that, on a teachers salary in the UK, it is very hard to raise the funds to buy the cameras and lenses that will make a photography business successful. Some people might say "well buy a cheap camera then". I totally understand this but if I am going to make it a successful business that will go on to become my career, I will need to start strong and this means good cameras and lenses!

Please help a man follow his dream!
