In an effort to raise funds for AFC Portchester CIC's 3G pitch, five of us (Trevor Deacon, Louis Avenell, Lewis Deacon, Luke Channer & Bryn Furber) will be cycling from Weston-Super-Mare FC's "Optima Stadium" to "The OnSite Group Stadium" - home of AFC Portchester.

120+ miles across 2 days (21st - 22nd of May 2026).

At AFC Portchester we believe football is more than just a game, it’s a way to bring people together, build confidence, and create a true sense of belonging within our community.

This facility will sit at the heart of our community, providing a safe, inclusive space where people of all ages and abilities can come together, stay active, and feel part of something bigger. Working alongside AFC Portchester in the Community CIC, a non-profit organisation, this project is about giving back to the community that has served us so well for the past 50+ years.

Every penny raised will go directly into creating a safe, welcoming environment where football, and other activities, can be enjoyed regardless of background, ability, or weather conditions.

Now that we’ve achieved the grants we aimed for, it’s our turn to raise the remainder of the money needed to make this vision a reality, and that’s why we need your help.
