This year we will be running at the Great North Run again. We are raising money through This is my hand, so that we can share funds raised between two vital charities; The Mind Blue Light programme and the Samaritans. We have supported the work of these two charities since the campaign started. In order to secure funds go directly to the blue light programme we have to raise a minimum of £5000 which we are well on the way to. They have been directly involved in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of emergency and essential service personnel.
Reading Samaritans have produced a postcard advert in conjunction with our campaign to raise awareness of their service for 999 and essential service personnel.
