14 of us at Team UNITY BARS AND CLUBS along woth 10 of the PASTICHE TEAM will be running the 10 mile TOUGH MUDDER challenge on Sunday 28th July all to raise funds for HENRY LOVE to help him get the treatment he needs to walk again, if you know us we are not fitness trained and likely one of us will cough up a lung but we are lucky enough to have the health to at least be able to attempt this. £15000 is the target for this but this will only give Henry a fraction of what he needs so the more we can raise the better... Please help us achieve Henry's Dream.

I could tell this story but it's much better to hear it from Henry Himself... For those of you that know Henry he is one of the most Likeable, friendly people you could ever be lucky enough to meet when suddenly out of the blue tragedy struck. This could happen to any one of us at any time.

Here is Henry's Story:

Life was all good then In the blink of an eye it was all bad.

Laid in a hospital deteriorating rapidly with no prognosis, slipped into a coma for 2 weeks in which time I got diagnosed with the rarest form of spinal TB which by that time was that erratic it turned into meningitis.

It attacked the back of my brain & spinal chord, they called my family to come say goodbye because I wasn’t going to make it the night..

They were wrong!

I eventually came out of the coma & spent 4 weeks in intensive care then they said if I wakes up I’ll have brain damage n won’t b able to talk.

They were wrong!

I woke up & I spoke, with no brain damage, then eventually came out of intensive care. I spent 9 months in hospital & got told I’m Paralysed from the chest down & will not walk again.. But the fight continues.

I want them to be wrong!

I have been told by medical professionals in the USA that I have a 60-75% chance of being able to feel my legs again, or at least have control of my own bowels and bladder.
