    Story

One person that every Morini owner knows is Rob (not his real name, by the way) who has run the spares department at North Leicester Motorcycles ever since he left school. Thanks to Rob’s encyclopaedic knowledge of his specialist subject and his friendly and helpful manner, we’ve been able to keep our bikes running for decades.

Now that the NLM business has been sold, many Morini owners have said that they’d like to contribute to a ‘retirement’ gift for Rob (although he’s far too young to retire!) to express our gratitude for all the help he’s given to us over the years. So we’ve set up this Just Giving page so that you can do that. Please also tell all the other Morini riders you know, and many thanks for your contribution.

I had to round up my donation so the total is 501 in honour of Morini's brilliant 501 engine (yes I know it's not 501cc :) and Rob's wonderful service over the decades.

Thanks for organising Pete, and a big thanks to Rob for all his hard work and patience over the years; as others have said - far more than just a 'bloke in the stores'...

I was a Founder member of the Morini Riders Club in 1975. Rob has been helping Morini riders keep their motorcycles on the road for as long as I can remember. Always helpful and patient with those of us enthusiastic about Lambertini's engineering masterpieces.
