Based at Rudstone Walk, our Wedding venue, South Cave Falconry provides a home for a small charity called ‘The Wolds Way Owl Trust’ – if you live locally you may have seen them out and about doing fundraising at schools, shopping and garden centres, country fayres and other events.

The charity was originally set up by Rob's sister Ann and her husband Pete, to provide a sanctuary for 'exotic' owls which had been confiscated from unsuitable homes but it also assists in the rescue, rehabilitation and (where possible) the release of indigenous owls, providing veterinary care, suitable accommodation and food. Where it is not possible for them to release an owl they endeavour to provide a permanent home at the centre whenever possible.

They do fantastic work on an extremely tight budget and every penny is well spent so please give generously.
