Story

In October 2021, veteran paratrooper Michael Lynaghan was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. In true Para Reg style, Michael has fought a strong battle over the last two years, and his treatment had been working well until recently. His only option now is a treatment called Lutetium 177-PSMA. This treatment is NHS approved, and recommended by Michael’s consultant, but is only available as a private patient due to the cost.

Michael will need a maximum of 6 rounds of treatment, as well as numerous PET CT scans, blood tests and consultant appointments, all of which are available to him at a hospital in the UK. Each treatment will be around £14k plus scans etc so anything we can help raise will go a long way to giving Michael a fighting chance at life and more valuable years with his wife and two young girls.
