Story
Swindon Sisters Alliance help families in and around Swindon to recover from domestic abuse and rebuild their lives through therapeutic days out and short breaks.
Swindon Sisters have a shop located in the Parade in Swindon town centre and work closely with key local organisations including Women’s Aid and SBC.
Swindon Sisters Alliance VISION is a world in which those affected by domestic abuse have access to services as quick as possible and are able to develop the power to lift themselves and overcome domestic violence related traumas. To enable them to live healthy lives for their families and community now and in the future.
Their mission is to empower people by offering therapeutic days out and short breaks, to enhance health, wellbeing and to overcome trauma. To create a compassionate environment for each person entrusted to their care and to inspire hope and healing by helping those individuals achieve their highest level of physical, emotional well-being. To be a part of their journey helping them recover and see them achieve their own personal goals in life and freedom from the domestic violence that has impacted their lives.
