Story
I am running in the Manchester Half marathon on May 28th 2017 to help raise funds/donations to support Rob McCoy and his family in their aim of having their house adapted for Rob who is now paralysed, apart from some of his left side, following a massive stroke last year. He is in a nursing home in full time care but the family's aim is to BRING ROB HOME and they need help to do that. They plan to build a £50,000 extension to provide a wetroom, ramps, a separate entrance for carers to come in and a hoist to allow Rob to regain some independence and be back home with his family. Please donate what you can to help.

7 years agoHi everybody. I would just like to say a final, final thank you to all of you that made online donations to my JustGiving run fund for Rob McCoy. I also have a lot of cash donations to add to the fund and will be totalling it all up the next few days but it will be £2000+ !!!! A few of us are also arranging a charity football game so the final total will be posted a few days after June 30th when we have the football match. Watch out for it! I'm hoping to get around £2500 overall which will be finding its way this man!!!!! Thanks all of you!

I am a teacher at Trinity High School, Hulme, Manchester. I have known Rob McCoy as a dear friend and teaching colleague since 1998. I am trying to raise some money to give to Rob and his family to contribute to the costs associated with his care.
