Eastbourne Sea Cadets aim to help young people toward responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy. We are an independent charity that relies on a committed team of adult volunteers who cover a variety of roles from fund raising to teaching cadets.

We have recently received two new RS Quest sailing dinghies which we will be using throughout 2017 to help teach the cadets sailing skills which will I turn help them develop self confidence, team working and a sense of responsibility. By placing the dinghies on the pontoons as shown above the cadets will be able to rig the boats on a secure platform as well as launch them in a controlled environment.
