As most of you are aware on the 24th January 2021, my dear friend Robert Fairclough passed away in hospital from Covid 19.

This has been a very tough time for this local, well-loved family, especially his wife Emma, who has been in Intensive Care at Whiston fighting the virus whilst also grieving the loss of her beloved Mum who passed away only 6 days before.

Thankfully Emma is recovering well and is hoping to be home this week where she can start to rebuild her life.

As a close friend of Emma and her family I ask if anyone in the local community felt they were able to contribute towards the funeral costs, I know it would be hugely appreciated from them in this devastating time.
