Sally has had a life long medical condition. She suffers from BD, a borderline personality disorder. This all started when she was at school being isolated and bullied, eventually going to a special school. Since school she has suffered from very bad bouts of depression, which has left her unemployable, feeling worthless. The NHS, not being funded for mental illnesses, have tried but struggled to treat Sally.
Now, to make things worse, she has been diagnosed with ET, Essential Thrombocythemia, a type of blood cancer, which has made her feel even worse about herself.
Why do I want to raise money for Sally?
Sally has always been conscious about her body size and shape. With her mental condition she always feels very down about herself. I would like to raise enough money to get her the necessary surgery to give her the piece of mind, to look good about herself and to give herself more self esteem.
Sally doesn't know I am doing this, what a surprise it will give her if I can achieve my goal.
