Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page.

In July 2017, 3 days after arriving in the US for the summer season of coaching I received a phone call which changed my dad’s life overnight. A passion of my dads was cycling and due to an incredibly unfortunate accident after which he was in hospital for 4 and a half months, he is now tetraplegic, confined to a wheelchair, has limited use of his arms and legs and requires specialised equipment going forward to give him some quality of life.

I would like to raise approx £2500, and with the help of two very good friends, Andy Brown and Jamie Beastall we have decided to partake in a Full Tough Mudder challenge in July 2018, roughly one year to the date of the accident. This is a tough challenge, taking on over 20 obstacles involving ice cold water, electric fences, tear gas, to name but a few, it’s a 13k event so it will be hard. To see what a Tough Mudder consists of, go visit: https://toughmudder.co.uk/obstacles

We hope to raise enough funds to buy the equipment he needs to support his everyday way of life, it will really help him to continue working towards a quality of life that he can only dream about at the moment.

Any donation no matter how small will be so greatly appreciated, every penny raised will go towards his equipment requirements, we really need your help and support!

Thank you
