Since the abortion act 1967 approximately 8 million unborn children have been killed on mainland U.K. but in Northern Ireland it has always been illegal. However, the Westminster government has now agreed to provide abortions to Northern Ireland Women free on the NHS in England. Also, next year in the Republic of Ireland there will be a referendum on the 8th amendment which currently guarantees the right to life of an unborn child. Also, attempts will continue to be made in Stormont to chip away at our current abortion laws if and when the executive returns.
My passion is to protect the most vulnerable in our society and to do my bit to bring this 21st Century holocaust to an end.
