I've raised £1000 to support the Aldeburgh RNLI. Our group will swim everyday through this December without wetsuits and hoping you enjoy the updates.

Story

We are a group of around 20 mates who regularly meet to swim together on the Suffolk coast at Thorpeness.

Last year during lockdown we swam through the winter in pairs and eventually back in our "Pod" and discovered the buzz and health benefits of wild swimming without wearing wetsuits. We managed 120 consecutive days last winter and swam in the river when the sea was too fierce. The coldest day being 0.5 oC in the river with a winchill of -10 oC.

This December we are swimming every day to raise funds for our beloved local lifeboat at Aldeburgh. We have a close relationship with the crew (not having required their assistance fortunately) and would like to give them all the support we can.

If you can help us with our fund raising we would be very grateful as you never know when you might need their help.
