Earlier this year I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and since diagnosis my ability to get around has become very restricted to the point that I try not to leave the house as I know it will leave me in quite a bit of discomfort for the rest of the day , I have tried to claim for a mobility vehicle but as they deem that I can walk 50yards that I do not need help in getting around although I have to use a walking stick at all times, sadly we can not afford to purchase a car so my next option is a mobility scooter so I can go out a little, finances are quite tight following a family bereavement, back in September I lost my mum after a brave battle that started off with her being diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

Sadly I also suffer with depression and anxiety and the stress of not being able to do things is becoming to much.

We are hoping to raise as much as we can, anything will be a bonus in trying to raise funds to buy either a new or refurbished scooter.
