Story
🎉 Running Update
Sunday 7th September '25, I ran the Big Half Marathon in 1h51 — proudly rocking a pink wig and tutu! This was about mens mental health.

On the 21/09/25 I donned Richard Rogers-esque colourful clothes and took part in RunShoreditch10k. That included running with a portfolio & site visit hat. Random running injury - bruised arm pits from a portfolio case! Architecture just kills me!

...& for my final act of Super September: Ran with my kids and wife as a trio dressed as a tube train for the Vitality Westminster Mile.

I have raised nearly £4000 so far and want to hit £5000 in October
🎙️ Sharing the Story
Along the way, I’ve also had the privilege of recording podcasts with Musings Behind the Creatives and OT and Chill, where I shared my experiences with mental health; Why #TottenhamTalking matters so much; The power of honesty, bravery, and simply talking...Link: Rob Talks Menatl Health
🙏 Thank you for helping me shine a light on men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and the importance of breaking the silence.
🚀 What’s Next: September Awareness and Fundraising
September is packed with activities — all to keep Tottenham Talking alive:
🏃♂️ Big Half (done in 1h51 in wig & tutu)
🏛️ Running to Community events: Already I ran to Lordship Flower and Produce Show and Markfield Festival. We even got an award for chilli at the festival!
🏛️ Running to Architecture events (Retrofit 25 Closing Night, Open House London, London Design Festival)
👟 Saucony London 10k — Done in hard hat with portfolio case.
👰♀️ Westminster Mile - Done. With my kids - the trio dressed as a Victoria Line tube train. Why? Because family mental health suffers when my wife and I have suffered. We have dealt with PND and PTSD after the difficult birth of our first child, and the return of PND when we had our second child. And then Covid got thrown into that mix like a hand grenade and tore us apart at the seems.
