Weʼve raised £385 to Help refurbish Stonham Aspal village hall.
- Stonham Aspal, United Kingdom
- Funded on Tuesday, 15th August 2017
Don't have time to donate right now?
Our village hall was built in 1934 and is now in need of total refurbishment. We have applied for grants to refurbish the village hall to bring it up to modern standards. We have been fortunate to have raised around 80% of the cost, but still need £45,000 to complete all the work. Our Pub closed three years ago and the village shop is long gone so the Church and village hall are the main village community centres where we can meet. Please help us raise the remaining target to give us somewhere pleasant to come together as a community. Thank you!

Thanks to all those that made a contribution to our fund. Although we fell well short of our target, we have now got an additional £360 (:after fees) to spend on the refurbishment.

I moved to Stonham Aspal five years ago. I like to get involved with all aspects of community life and can honestly say that I have enjoyed being part of this great community. I joined the village hall sub-committee to try and improve the facilities for everyone who uses the hall
