Story

On 14th November 2018, my uncle Rob had his electric pedal cycle stolen from a cycle rack outside Orpington Village Hall in Kent. The cycle was his only means of independence following a debilitating motorcycle accident some years ago, that left him with brain damage and injuries that meant he would never be able to work or ride again. He was a massive part of the biker community and the electric cycle had recently enabled him to regain some of his independence and make new friends in Orpington and West Kingsdown, where he is a much loved local character and regular at Brands Hatch Circuit. The theft left him stranded and he used all of his savings to fund a replacement. There were a number of sentimental photos in the pannier which are also now lost forever.

His family are now seeking to raise the money to cover the cost of the new cycle. Electric models cost around £1,000 but any small amount you are able to give would be immensely appreciated.

Any additional funds (or if Robs' bike is found) will be donated to the charity "Brake" which is a road safety organisation that works to reduce road deaths and injuries throughout the UK.
