This year, Robert Wilson will be taking on his 6th 100-mile sponsored bike ride, to raise money for Whitby DAG and WHISH. Weather depending, Rob's ride will take place on Sunday 26th July, and this year, he will be joined by good friend, Gary James. The endeavour will begin from Rob's home in Sleights and will cover ground across the North Yorkshire Moors and Ryedale area. The cyclists will cross the finish line at Perry's Plants Garden Centre in Sleights.

Everyone is welcome to join us at the finish line for refreshments (more details to follow). In 2025, Rob managed to raise £3,015.00 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Whitby, Scarborough and Ryedale Disability Action Group is a user-led organisation, led by a Board of Trustees, a majority of whom are disabled people or carers. Whitby DAG are focused on enabling independent living for disabled people, and offer services such as volunteering, equipment hire, transport and helping people to make informed choices through access to various services and information.

WHISH extends a warm invitation to individuals and families navigating the unique challenges associated with Autism, ADHD and many other hidden impairments. WHISH will offer a safe space, free from judgement and full of understanding. Whether you're seeking information, friendship, or simply a place where you can be yourself without fear of judgement, WHISH will be there for you.
