I'm an ex-militery man who has developed several illnesses. Peripheral Neuropathy and Inflammatory Bowl Disease and Rheumatoid arthritis and fibromialja and PTSD.
My mobility has got to the point that I can only managed a few steps.
I was promised help from the council but due to cuts they can't help me.
I was trying to fund this myself by saving up but the council have said that I have to start paying for my carers. I have carers coming in 3 times a day.
So any savings I have is going to have to be used for that..
My issue is I have 2 beautiful daughter's who are my heart and soul and I love them so much. They make life worth living.. but it's so hard just taking them to the park or basically doing anything.
I know there are hundreds if not thousands of guys like me and maybe I should just not ask for help.
But I want to try and be the best dad I can be for my girls. And if that means getting down on my knees and begging and grovelling then I'll do that for my girls. I can't really ask the British Legion because they helped so much when me and my wife split up. Helping me furnish my flat and everything.
