For many people in Tanzania dental treatment is frequently too far away and too expensive and so many suffer in awful pain for years. As one of the poorest countries in the world many have only enough money to feed themselves and can't access any treatment.

Every year Bridge2Aid provides emergency dental training to local rural health workers. By training local people to get their own communities out of pain we are directly addressing inequality in healthcare. We are providing long-term safe emergency dental treatment to people who desperately need it.

I am fundraising to support my return as a Dental Volunteer Practitioner in 2017 as well as aiming to raise funds to support others who can offer their time but have difficulty raising the funds themselves.

The funds we raise are used to help pay towards our travel costs, living expenses and the clinical equipment those we train will retain and use. We all donate our time at no cost.
