Story
Andy Gaunt will be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon on the 25th of September 2016 to enable people of all ages and backgrounds to join in with a Community Archaeology Project in the world famous Sherwood Forest.
The aim of this fundraising is to raise funds to enable people with learning difficulties, children and young people, including children with Autism, Asperger's and ADHD, to enable them to have an experience that will stay with them for years to come. We will use the funds raised to provide archaeological opportunities and work with specialist carers and support groups, professional archaeologists and transport costs. Details will be provided on our website of the project as it unfolds.
