Robin Three Peaks Challenge
On 13th September 2025 we’ll be taking part in the gruelling National Three Peaks Challenge involving climbing the highest peak in each of Scotland, England and Wales. These peaks are Ben Nevis (1,345 m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978 m) in England, and Snowdon (1,085 m) in Wales. The challenge covers a total distance of approximately 26 miles with a total ascent of around 3,000 meters in 24 hours.
A group of around 15 of us will be completing the challenge in memory of our friend Robin who we all met at Loughborough University. This September marks a decade since his passing and we wanted to do something together to celebrate his life and raise some money along the way for the foundation set up in his memory.
Ymddiriedolaeth Cofio Robin (Robin Llyr Memorial Trust) was established by Robins family in 2018 to provide financial support to individuals from North West Wales who excel in any aspect of sport.
The trust recently reached a big milestone by passing £100000 in grants made to 110+ individuals. We hope to add to this number for such a great cause.
