Story
6 Fantastic Children need your help to attend the VEX IQ robotics world finals.
We are a group of 6 children from Wath Central Primary School, Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham. We set up a Robotics club in school in September 2018 in which we have researched, designed, built and programmed a robot from scratch. We have entered and successfully qualified in both a regional and national competition where we were awarded both an energy and excellence award for our efforts. We have now been awarded a place at The VEX IQ World Robotics Championships in Kentucky, USA. We are so excited and proud that our hard work and dedication has given us this chance to show off our skills and commitment. This is an amazing opportunity for you to support some of the most talented and budding young engineers in the country. Us!!!
Out of 600 teams that have qualified globally, only two UK primary schools gained entry by winning their qualifying heats – us being one of them. We feel this is something to be extremely proud of.
We have a once in a lifetime chance to represent our school and our country. With your help we will be able to achieve our dream of competing in this amazing event.
It would be such a huge shame if we did not raise the money required to go on this extraordinary trip. We want the chance to test our engineering skills against some of the best teams in the world. Nu-Alliance can conquer the world of Robotics. Please help us to achieve our dream.
Any help that you could offer would be much appreciated.
Yours hopefully,
Team Nu-Alliance
