Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m raising £1,000 to support CONQR and Archie’s Caravan — two incredible charities that help people facing some of life’s toughest challenges.

Why am I raising money?

I’ve always believed that when life knocks you down, you have a choice — stay down or fight back. That’s exactly what CONQR and Archie’s Caravan represent to me.

CONQR brings together Men In Need Together (MINT), Veterans In Need Together (VINT), and Women Inspiring Strength and Hope (WISH). They provide vital mental health support, helping people when they need it most. I’ve experienced their impact firsthand and was honoured to be asked to become a trustee for 2025.

Archie’s Caravan was founded by Archie’s parents after his passing in 2021. They turned their grief into a lifeline for others by offering respite holidays to families going through tough times — a chance to rest, recover, and make unforgettable memories together.

In 2025, I’m taking on a series of endurance challenges that will push me far beyond my comfort zone:

January: Sean Conway’s 496 Challenge — running 496km in a month.

June: A 70-mile ultra-marathon.

July: A 100-mile ultra-marathon.

If we raise more than £1,000, I’ll add even more challenges:

£2,000 (£1,000 per charity): A 60+ mile ultra-marathon.

£4,000 (£2,000 per charity): A 130-mile ultra-marathon.

I’m not an experienced runner or endurance athlete, but I’m determined to do my part. The challenges ahead will be nothing compared to what the families and individuals these charities support go through every day.

Even if you can’t donate, please like, share, and comment to help spread the word. Every bit of support makes a difference.

Let’s do something incredible — together.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

UPDATE: we sailed past my initial target of £1000 so I've upped it to £2000. If we hit this I'll be added another ultramarathon to the challenges this year.
