Hello!

My name’s Rob and I’m fundraising to help cover the costs for gender-affirming surgery.

I don’t want to share lots about why I need this, the dysphoria I experience or my “journey” so far. I don’t even really want to talk about the exact surgery I’m having because I don't think it's relevant.

What I will say is that I love being trans but, as everyone knows by now, our healthcare system does not love trans people - right now, if I followed the NHS pathway it would be up to 10 years before it was completed.

So over the last few years I've worked my butt off to save up for going privately - and I’m now in the final stretch!

The money from this fundraiser will help cover the consultation, travel, accommodation and actual surgery costs, which overall will be around £16k.

To be honest I'm incredibly nervous about posting this so any support, donating or sharing, is massively appreciated.
