Macey is our 3 years old beautiful daughter. She was born prematurely at 29+6 gestation. She spent her first 6 weeks in SCBU before being allowed to come home with us and her big brother Joshua.

At the age of 15months Macey had an MRI scan which finally diagnosed her with cerebral palsy.

Since then she has been seen regularly by a physiotherapist, she has a Kaye walker and wears splints, these assist in supporting her with mobility.

She also attends nursery 3 times a week and requires a 1:1 staff member at all times. Macey needs help, supervision and support with all aspects of her life.

This operation will enable her to walk unaided and gain that independence she so desires. Unfortunately this operation is not funded on the NHS at present and the cost for us to self fund the surgery is £15000 and the after care/rehabilitation a further £20000.

Please can you help. We know this is a huge amount to ask for but every £1 donated will add up and we really hope to reach our goal for Macey to have this much needed operation to help her lead the fully mobile life she deserves.
