My name is Robyn Millar, I am 17 years old and currently studying alevels at Belfast Royal Academy. I have been one of the extremely lucky out of 35 talented individuals to have been chosen to be apart of the Malawi 2017 team! An expedition in which our team venture to the developing country Malawi in Africa and contribute to the community in a way which we hope will affect many different peoples lives, even our own. The money raised will go towards all areas of life in Malawi, specifically Malanje. In the past, the money has gone towards building homes and brand new kitchen facilities in the aptsa primary school, along with many other improvements. Our time there is spent in very productive ways, including work experience among our chosen field. As an aspiring commercial lawyer, I couldn't be more excited to be able to see first hand the businesses of Malawi. On top of this, we all are able to participate in teaching the young Malawians, and be able to learn from their bright minds whilst doing so. I am very privileged to be able to be apart of this expedition and I know it will be a life changing experience, one I will never forget about. So I would just like to say thank you so much for all who are able to help me be apart of this once in a life opportunity.
