Help Us Give Robyne a Chance to Fight
Our dear colleague and friend, Robyne Simpson, needs our help.
Robyne has been an extraordinary force for good in our community. For nearly five years, she’s worked tirelessly to support others—young carers, partner schools, refugees, and so many more. She’s poured energy, compassion, and time into helping others thrive. Now, it’s time we do the same for her.

Over a year ago, Robyne was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, she’s faced every challenge with strength and hope—enduring chemotherapy, operations, and countless tests. Despite her resilience, Robyne recently received the devastating news that her cancer is now inoperable. Doctors have given her a prognosis of around six months to live.
But there is still hope.
A pioneering treatment called SIRTS (Selective Internal Radiation Therapy) could offer Robyne more time. It’s a targeted form of internal radiotherapy designed specifically for liver tumours. Though not a cure, SIRTS has the potential to slow the growth of the cancer, relieve symptoms, and—most importantly—extend Robyne’s life.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not immediately available through the NHS, and the waiting list could stretch beyond three months—time she simply doesn’t have. The treatment privately costs £25,000, and we are urgently trying to raise this amount so Robyne can access it without delay.
This is where we need your support.
If Robyne has ever touched your life, supported your work, or inspired you through her kindness and determination, please consider donating whatever you can. Every pound counts. Whether it's £5 or £500, your contribution will help give Robyne precious time—time to be with loved ones, to continue fighting, and to live life on her own terms.
Any remaining funds will go towards Robyne's children and supporting her family. Robyne knows this fundraiser is being put together and added:
"The thought of not seeing my children grow up, taking them to school, or being there to support them is heartbreaking. I’ve never been good with words or asking for help, but the reality that I won’t be able to support my family, and that they may face financial struggles, is overwhelming"

Let’s come together for someone who’s always been there for others.
Let’s help Robyne have the chance she deserves.
Thank you so much for your support.
P.S. "What I would ask is this, we have two young children that have NO idea how serious things are so would ask for your help in keeping our confidence until such a time that we need to have a conversation with them."
