Story

The Rockin' Roadrunner is an organization that runs live music events for people with disabilities. We aim to allow people with disabilities and their families and carers a safe, fun event we they can access live music, DJ and performers.

Over the last 6 years the club has extended further in the a community and hosted The Roadrunner Mini Festival which invites service providers to attend as stallholders, sharing information and hosting activities to raise funds for their particular concerns and raising awareness of disability support. The festival is free to all and fully inclusive and is attended by a vast demographic. The event works in partnership with The Performing Rooms, a local music charity, local disability organizations, resource centres, community payback, local businesses and residential homes.

The club also creates opportunities for users to train at workshops and to perform or show work at the clubs events and annual festival.

The festival has previously been funded by grants but due to current finacial cuts these are increasingly hard to come by, thats why were asking for your help towards operational costs of hosting the festival.

Anyone who has visited our previous events will tell you what a fantastic unique family friendly environment Is created when this community comes together.
