Rockleaze Rangers Football Club initially comprised a senior section, founded in 1976, and a junior section, founded in 1995, which came together to form a single club in 2009. The club caters for all age groups and abilities, from under 6s to under 18s; plus an inclusivity group; five senior adult teams and a veteran’s team.

The Club has come a long way since its humble beginnings, and after a number of temporary homes, in 2018 we finally settled into the fantastic 3G facility at UWE Hillside Gardens.

We are now looking to take the next steps in the Club’s journey by installing our own permanent clubhouse at Hillside.

Having sourced an appropriate building, we are now seeking to raise £10,000 (in addition to sport grant applications currently in progress) to transport and fit-out this new space to create a matchday hub for players, officials, parents and opposition to safely congregate and socialise.

An onsite clubhouse represents a fantastic opportunity to bring the club’s members together after each match to celebrate a hard-earned win; commiserate a loss; or even just as a space for parents and spectators to shelter from the elements!

To make this a reality, the Club’s members will be undertaking a number of fundraising events over the upcoming months, which we will promote here.

The first event is a sponsored relay from Bristol to Doha, Qatar (host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup). Our adult members will collectively be walking / running / cycling the 6,875km between the two cities during February.

We understand that times are especially tough at the moment but are planning for a brighter future for our Club when things are back to normal once again. Any donations, however large or small, will be gratefully welcomed.

For each donation of £25 or more, the donor will be immortalised with their name on our Wall of Rocks, proudly displayed inside the Clubhouse.
