In April 2015, Roger was sadly diagnosed with an incurable brain tum our. He, his family and close friends have been heartbroken with this devastating news but are now ready to raise money and give something back to Compton Hospice and Brain Tumor Research who have greatly supported them through what is a very difficult time.

The family would also like to raise enough funds so that Roger can fulfil a life long dream to record a song in a recording studio. When Roger was a young man he was in a band called the Cynics, and they played all around Wolverhampton to their adoring fans. Music has always been a passion for Roger and if enough funds are raised this would be an opportunity of a lifetime for him.

On Friday 18th November 2016, the Red Lion pub on Amos Lane in Wednesfield, are kindly holding a fundraising event with the family. There will be a DJ, Disco, Karaoke and Raffle with some amazing prizes to be won. Please feel free to join us from 7.30pm.
