Weʼve raised £2,560 to help in a Medical Clinic in Bangladesh to help the Rohingya refugees. I will be volunteering as a doctor in these clinics.

Funded on Friday, 7th September 2018

    Story

The Rohingya refugees are in need of medical help as well as financial aid. Millions have arrived in Bangladesh and the conditions they are living in are appalling.

I will be joining this international health agency, MedGlobal who has been providing medical aid for these refugees since 2017. These medical clinics are run by volunteer doctors who give up their time and money to help these unfortunate people.

I will be paying for my own flights and accomodation and as well as providing my help as a medical doctor, I am hoping to take medical supplies to assist the clinics. These refugees do not have any money and cannot pay for the medical treatment they much need. With your help they can get the care they deserve and you will be rewarded immensely for your charity act.

Not only will your donations help buy medicines but it will go towards the clinics purchasing diagnostic equipments. If you know of any suppliers wishing to donate any equipment I will look to see if I can take these with me as well.

Please donate as much as you can and I thank you for your help.

Thank you to everyone who donated and made this mission possible. The Rohingya people were eternally grateful for the care they received, the medicine we gave and the long term health promotion. I really loved the experience and wish the refugees get their citizenship soon back in their home country. Abdul

I am a GP in London and am really looking forward to helping out these refugees in Bangladesh. My previous charity work included being a Doctor for the Hajj Medical Team. I am always looking to volunteer my services of a doctor to those most in need.
