Story

As most know, when Bea was born she suffered a stroke and was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. I returned to work when she was just five months old, and that’s when our wonderful journey with Chipmunks began. Over the past four years, the staff at Chipmunks have gone above and beyond in their care and support for Bea. She has built such a special bond with each member of the team, and I truly believe that without their dedication and encouragement, Bea wouldn’t be where she is today. They have supported her every step of the way, helping her to walk and to talk. Joe and I are beyond grateful for each and every one of them.

On April 26th this year, I will be running the London Marathon. I am hoping to raise some money to give back to Chipmunks, whose love and support have meant so much to our family. Being able to contribute towards an interactive whiteboard for the children would truly be a dream come true. Any donations and support would mean the world to us.

I am definitely not an athletic person, but I have slowly been training and building my fitness. I’ll be sharing updates along the way and, with lots of determination and support, I’m hoping to make it across that finish line in April.

Thank you all,

Ro x
