Story
On 1 December in London, I will be boxing at my first ever white collar boxing event to raise funds for a new home for eight children in Lithuania.
Your donations will go to St Joseph’s family home to support the renovation of their newly acquired building.
Šv. Juozapo šeimos namai (St Joseph's family home) is a childcare institution based in Paparciai village in Lithuania. It currently provides home for 26 children who no longer have anyone to live with.
The organisation is expanding and has recently bought an old house (as seen in the picture) in the same village. The house needs a complete renovation. As such, the organization is currently looking for donations to cover the critical works needed. With the help of your support this old house can become a new home for eight children.
I have been visiting Paparciai village in Lithuania for several years and I am always humbled by the dedication and hard work of their staff. Also, the kids are very active, inquisitive and they always beat me in basketball! I enjoy visiting Paparciai a lot and want the kids to have a beautiful new home.
A boxing bout looked like a proper challenge to raise funds since I have never done any martial arts in my life. I am currently training 6 times a week which includes 5km interval sprints (hate sprints), sparring, circuit training and staying on a diet.
Once again, your donations will lead to a beautiful new home for eight children. Thank you for your support!
